PARKER ~ PALM SPRINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, it’s been a pretty quiet summer……. \u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0which is just fine, it’s too dang hot to be outdoors for too long!<\/p>\n

As such I haven’t had much to blog about, so I thought it would be fun to talk a little bit about some of my favorite venues around the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley.<\/p>\n

These are in no particular order.<\/p>\n

Lets start with Parker Palm Springs. \u00c2\u00a0http:\/\/www.theparkerpalmsprings.com\/index.php<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This property is just so COOL! \u00c2\u00a0Very retro and uber stylish. \u00c2\u00a0It’s “groovy baby”….. \u00c2\u00a0 said like Austin Powers.<\/p>\n

On a more serious note, this is \u00c2\u00a0a very classy, upscale hotel, yet they make you feel very comfortable and at home. \u00c2\u00a0The service is stellar and the staff is so professional and on the ball. \u00c2\u00a0Make sure you check out their website, especially the photo gallery, I think that like me, you will fall in love with this hotel!<\/p>\n

O’DONNELL HOUSE ~ PALM SPRINGS<\/p>\n

Next is the O’Donnell House. \u00c2\u00a0I just love this property, so much character and history.\u00c2\u00a0http:\/\/www.thewillowspalmsprings.com\/odonnell_photos.html<\/a> \u00c2\u00a0This property sits directly above downtown Palm Springs. \u00c2\u00a0It’s perched right on the side of the mountain, the view is just to die for.<\/p>\n

I get to photograph Pia and Geoffrey’s wedding there in September. \u00c2\u00a0I CAN’T WAIT!! \u00c2\u00a0Here are a few photos from a wedding I shot there a few years ago.<\/p>\n

HACIENDA DEL TORO @ THE EMPIRE POLO GROUNDS ~ INDIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next is a gorgeous venue at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio. \u00c2\u00a0I photographed Merci and Carlos’ wedding at the Hacienda del Toro venue a few years ago. \u00c2\u00a0It is just so lush and gorgeous. \u00c2\u00a0It’s beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. \u00c2\u00a0Even though it’s right on the polo field grounds, it’s so secluded and private, you feel as though you are on a tropical island!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

ORBIT IN ~ PALM SPRINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is such a fun little hotel. \u00c2\u00a0Very retro and funky. \u00c2\u00a0All the rooms surround the pool and lawn area, so it has a lovely and cozy, intimate feeling. \u00c2\u00a0http:\/\/www.orbitin.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n
