I had so much fun with Andy and Tim on their wedding day. They got ready together at their amazing mid-century modern condo right down the street from the clubhouse where they had their ceremony in Palm Springs. This wedding was a long time coming, the two gentlemen have been together for 10 years and are just SO adorable together! They had their "best man and best woman" at the house while they were getting ready and it was such fun. They laughed and joked and drank champagne. It was exactly what they envisioned. Then we all walked together to the ceremony site, taking photographs along the way. Some candid, some posed. I find that this is a very good way to capture some of the best photographs as everyone feels natural and comfortable... just going for a stroll on a beautiful day! The ceremony was held "in the round", in other words, there was no seating except for a few benches should somebody need to sit. All their guests just stood in a semi circle around the couple as they stood under the massive olive tree, at sunset with the stunning Palm Springs mountains as their backdrop. Artisan Events hung a couple of lights in the tree for effect. It was simple and clean and perfect.

This atmospheric and artistic photograph beautifully captures an intimate moment between two grooms, bathed in a moody and dramatic setting. The couple stands close together near a stone wall, their faces turned toward each other in a quiet, tender moment that conveys love and connection. Their formal attire—sharp suits with crisp white shirts—contrasts elegantly against the rugged texture of the wall, highlighting their polished look amidst the natural and architectural elements.

On the right side of the image, a striking blue light installation or reflective surface adds an otherworldly, vibrant glow to the frame. The deep blues with hints of bright pinks and purples create an artistic and visually dynamic contrast against the darker tones of the stone and shadows. This creative use of light and color adds depth and intrigue, giving the photograph a modern, almost dreamlike feel.

The composition of the image is masterful, with the grooms placed in a shadowy pocket of the scene, drawing the eye directly to them. The blue light and the stone wall frame the couple perfectly, adding a sense of drama and intimacy to the moment. The interplay between the glowing blue and the warm, soft light that spills onto the couple creates a balance of cool and warm tones, enhancing the visual appeal.

The setting itself appears to be an outdoor or semi-outdoor venue with architectural stone details, suggesting a space that is both rustic and elegant—perhaps a resort or modern venue that mixes natural and artistic design. The darkened background contributes to a sense of privacy, as though the couple is sharing a quiet, personal moment away from the festivities.

This photograph is not only visually stunning but also emotionally resonant. It captures the quiet beauty of a private moment shared between two people in love while infusing the scene with creative and modern artistic flair. It’s a perfect example of how light, color, and composition can elevate a wedding image to something timeless and memorable.
