Outdoor wedding portraits Palm Desert

Amazing light for the couples portraits before the ceremony at Desert Willow Golf Course in Palm Desert. A sweet portrait of the bride and groom, classic with a modern twist. I placed the groom with his back to the sun, creating a gorgeous rim light along his head and shoulders, separating him nicely from the background. The groom was quite tall, so I knew he would shade the brides face from the harsh light, so I placed her with her face next to his, which not only shaded her, but also created this lovely little moment of intimacy between the couple.
