It is!! Love is in the air! Wedding season is fast approaching the Coachella Valley and I’m excited! I love meeting all my delightful couples and documenting all their fun and creative ideas.

The Joy of Weddings in the Desert

There’s something truly magical about wedding season in the Coachella Valley. As the desert sun dips behind the mountains and the skies turn shades of pink and gold, it feels like nature is setting the stage just for couples saying “I do.” Whether you’re planning an extravagant celebration at a resort or an intimate elopement tucked away among the palms, the desert has a way of making every wedding feel special. The mix of natural beauty, timeless architecture, and vibrant local culture creates a backdrop unlike anywhere else.

Big or Small—It’s All About Connection

One of the best parts of weddings here is that size doesn’t matter. A grand ballroom reception or a cozy backyard gathering can be equally memorable when it’s filled with love, laughter, and the people who matter most. The Coachella Valley’s venues range from chic mid-century estates and glamorous hotels to rustic desert hideaways—so whether you’re inviting 200 guests or just two witnesses, you’ll find the perfect spot. What really makes the day shine is the energy couples bring to it.

A Few Words of Advice

If you’re planning your wedding in the desert, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  • Lean into the desert vibe. Don’t be afraid to incorporate local touches—think bougainvillea, date palms, desert florals, or even a cactus-themed cocktail.
  • Plan for comfort. The desert sun is beautiful but can be strong. Consider timing your ceremony closer to sunset, offering fans or parasols, and keeping plenty of cold drinks handy for guests.
  • Keep it stress-free. Weddings don’t have to follow a rigid script. Focus on the moments that matter most to you as a couple, and let go of the rest. Your guests will remember the joy and authenticity, not whether the napkins were the perfect shade.

    Wrapping It Up
  • The Coachella Valley is a place where every couple can celebrate their love in their own way. Whether it’s cowboy boots in the sand, champagne toasts under palm trees, or a kiss beneath the windmills, each moment becomes part of the desert’s love story. Big or small, playful or elegant, desert weddings always shine with joy and authenticity.
  • If you’re dreaming of a Palm Springs or Joshua Tree wedding, let this collection inspire you. The desert is waiting—with sunshine, adventure, and endless beauty—for your own story to unfold.
