Ok, here are some more…. so much lovely and heartfelt emotion in this ceremony. The light was absolutely DEVINE and the ceremony space at the O’Donnell house is just so intimate, fabulous location for a wedding! Officiated by Mike Coppersmith.

Yes, I had to split this blog into “parts”…. I have SO many images from this wedding that I love, I decided it was easier that way, rather than overwhelming you with EVERY.SINGLE.IMAGE. that I love…. which did I mention? is A WHOLE BUNCH!! First of all, Jen and David could NOT be more lovely. Really just sweet, kind and down to earth people…. and absolutely gorgeous as well!! Jen works for one of my all time favorite vendors here in Palm Springs, Joey of Artisan events. So this wedding was what I would call, the “perfect storm”. The wedding day stars aligned and thus…… multiple postings. LOL!! Jen and David chose one of my FAVORITE venues for their wedding, the O’Donnell house, which is an authentic, 30′s Spanish villa that sits on the mountain overlooking downtown Palm Springs. It’s absolute perfection.
The first set of images I’m sharing are from the “getting ready” part of the day. I would be lying if I said this isn’t my absolute favorite part of the wedding day, because it absolutely is. It is so much fun. The preparation, hair, makeup. Friends coming and going. Champagne and laughter. Lots of anticipation… and hair spray. ;-)
I hope you enjoy this first post:

This was a super fun Birthday Party, all done up in a very festive Mexican theme. Cathy and Dorry were in charge of the decor and organizing this shindig at the Hideaway in La Quinta…. and once again, they outdid themselves! It was a stunningly gorgeous day, a house to DIE for and the food…. well. what can I say. the food. YUM!!

Straw hats as centerpieces… SO cute!
