I love this wonderfully romantic gesture so very much. Tyler got in touch with me to photograph his surprise proposal to his love Bessa. And boy did he put in the work to throw her off the scent! He started by organizing an extended family trip for the weekend in Palm Springs. Then, he contacted me about photographing his proposal… but how to explain why there is a photographer lurking around on a private estate with only your family around? Well a family photo session of course! So we plotted and schemed and came up with a perfect plan for the whole thing.
I arrived at Casa de Monte Vista before anyone else and scouted out a few spots. Spoiler alert, they are ALL good spots on this property! Its so gorgeous! Anyway, so then the family began to arrive (yes, they all knew the REAL reason for this gathering).
