I mean it, family photos should be fun. Not all your family portraits need to be the camera aware, smiling, perfectly posed. Embrace the chaos, the silliness and those darling in-between moments. I have said if before, quite often those are my favorites. The ones where the littles won’t cooperate, refuse to put their shoes on, stick out their tongues, make silly faces and yes… even the tears and tantrums. All of these things make these images so very uniquely YOU!

Now don’t misunderstand, I always strive to capture the “Holiday Card worthy” images. The ones you’ll share with friends and family and send off to grandma. Fear not, we’ll get plenty of those as well!
