As a business person myself, I’m well aware of how important it is to put your best foot forward. You want you clients and customers to get a clear sense of who you are even before they meet you. This is where a business portrait comes in. It is quite literally the face of your business or profession. So its important to get it right. You want to look friendly, approachable and professional.
Whether you own/run a funky shop downtown, or are a real estate agent for a prestigious firm, you equally want your portraits to convey who YOU are.
In this blog post I’m going to focus on some more straight forward style images, I’ll probably do a separate post for some more “lifestyle” or “branding” style photos where you can show off more of personality and personal style.
Check these out, all of these were accomplished in only a few minutes. It’s not a long and laborious process, I promise! I make it quick and fun!
With the above set of images of Eileen and her daughters, we kind of killed two birds with one stone. Eileen’s girls are grown and live in other parts of the U.S. They were in Palm Springs to visit mom and so they decided a sweet family session would be fun. Another fun-fact is that all three ladies went into the same mental health profession! So all three needed some professional headshots for their respective practices. I’m always happy to combine “professional headshots” with a full family session.
Toni is very inspiring, she decided some years ago to take charge of her life and make some very specific changes. Her goal was to reach a specific physical fitness level by the time she turned 40, and she DID!! So she celebrated with a photo session to document this achievement and stage in her life. She was very proud of herself and she absolutely should be, look at her!!!
Matt is a real estate agent in Palm Springs. He needed some updated images for his profile and business cards. So we met up in downtown Palm Springs and made some very lovely, simple photos for him. These types of sessions typically only last about 15-20 minutes, so its super easy, you could even schedule it on your lunch hour!
Justin just passed his real estate exam, CONGRATULATIONS Justin!!! So like Matt, he also needed some clean, crisp photos for his brand new position at a prestigious brokerage downtown.
Both Sheila and Colleen hadn’t had new headshots taken in quite some time, both were dreading the process, but again, both of these images were accomplished within 10 mintutes! I promise I make the ordeal very quick and painless.
These two photos (sisters) were also photographed during a family session. Since they needed some professional portraits for their respective business’, I was happy to pull them aside and and make a few simple and clean portraits that would work for them.
Steve has a therapy practice in Palm Springs. He was updating his website a few months ago and needed fresh photos to properly represent who he is. He wanted outdoors, relaxed and a bit casual, so we headed out to a lovely park in Palm Desert and made it happen!
So you see it doesn’t have to be a big ordeal at all. As I mentioned, sessions typically don’t last much longer than 20 minutes (unless you want it too), typically less! So grab your favorite shirt or blouse, comb your hair, freshen your makeup and lets get this done for you and your business!!
